To mark our 70thÌýanniversaryÌýthe College is constructing a new sacred outdoor space situated between the Oak Centre and Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ House. This space will incorporate a symbolic representation of St Brigid’s well with a water feature surrounded by six curved seats naming our core values. A border ofÌýballerinaÌýapple trees that connect to the story of St Brigid and theÌýapplesÌýwill border theÌýspace. On the adjacent exterior wall of the old ScienceÌýblockÌýwe are installing anÌýhonourÌýroll of all theÌýBrigidineÌýSisters whoÌýhaveÌýserved at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵÌýwithÌýa poem written by Jo Ryan titled ‘Women of Fire and Light’.ÌýFinallyÌýour Kildare Ministry cross that was blessed at the 10thÌýAnniversary conference hosted by Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ will find a new home inÌýthe space.Ìý

Information on subject selection can be found here.
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Community ConnectsÌý
Last Thursday weÌýcommencedÌýa new initiative aimed at connecting our students around matters where their voice and actions can make a difference. This alignsÌýtoÌýour strategic intention to be ‘Thriving ChangeÌýagents.ÌýWe hosted a whole school online meeting via Teams with myself, Lana and Ruby as College Captains, the Year 10 SRC Lucy and Layla and Justice Leaders Georgia andÌýKyahÌýThe purpose of the meeting is to share ways students can engage with the College, seek feedback on issues and then provide the feedback from student voice. WeÌýlaunched withÌýa conversation about our Justice project ‘1000 hours for Justice’ and the survey to support the review of our sports uniform. Students have shared how much they appreciated being a part of the conversation.ÌýÌý
Families were also invited to contribute feedback to the sports uniform review. If youÌýhaven’tÌýyet had a chance to respond,Ìýthe survey closes Friday and can be accessed via this linkÌýÌý
