Annually – Year 11 students – 10 days (Term 2 Holidays)
蘑菇视频 offers an annual听Timor鈥慙este听Intercultural Immersion听for a small group of听Year 11 students, building on a听long听standing听partnership with communities in听Dili,听Baucau听and听Viqueque听through the听Geelong听Viqueque听Friendship Schools (GVFS)听network. Typically involving听around eight students, the immersion takes place听mid听year听including school holidays听(June鈥揓uly)听for approximately听10 days. Students engage deeply with local schools, community听organisations听and faith communities, gaining insight into the history,听culture听and contemporary realities of听Timor鈥�Leste. The experience emphasises solidarity, education,听service听and global citizenship, inviting students to reflect on privilege,听resilience听and social justice听in light of听the Kildare听Ministries听values. The听approximate cost is $3,800鈥�$4,200 per student, covering international travel, accommodation, transport,听meals听and program costs.听听

Santa Teresa (Ltyentye Apurte) Immersion
Annually dependent on the community 鈥� Year 10 students 鈥� 7 Days (August)
蘑菇视频 also offers a highly respected听Santa Teresa Immersion听for听Year 10 students, undertaken in partnership with the听Ltyentye听Apurte听(Santa Teresa) community,听located听approximately听80 km听south听east听of Alice Springs听in the Northern Territory. Each year,听around eight students听participate听in this听one听week听immersion, usually held听in August. The experience is based on invitation and relationship, offering students the opportunity to learn with and serve alongside the local community through classroom support, community care initiatives, shared cultural learning and spiritual reflection. This immersion is听not a tour, but a deeply respectful entry into community life that nurtures empathy, cultural understanding, reconciliation and personal growth, aligned with 蘑菇视频鈥檚 Catholic identity and听Kildare Ministries听charism. The听approximate cost is $2,600 per student, inclusive of flights, accommodation, transport,听meals听and activities.听听

France Study Tour
2027 and 2029 鈥� Year 10, 11, 12 students 鈥� 13 Days (Term 1 Holidays)
蘑菇视频 offers a听French听Cultural Immersion听for students in听Years 10, 11 and 12, undertaken in partnership with听Marian College Ararat听and supported by听World听Strides. The program is conducted听at the end of Term 1听into the听school holidays听and typically involves听20鈥�25 students听travelling to听Paris and the Lyons region听for approximately听13 days. Designed to promote authentic language use and cultural understanding, the immersion enables students to engage听with听France鈥檚 rich history, artistic traditions, religious听heritage听and contemporary culture. Through visits to iconic historical sites, museums, cathedrals and regional communities, students deepen their听intercultural awareness, confidence and independence while developing global perspectives. The听approximate cost is $6,700鈥�$7,000 per student, inclusive of flights, accommodation, transport, most听meals听and educational programming.听听

Indonesia Study Tour
2028 and 2030听鈥� Year 10, 11, 12 students 鈥� 10 Days (Term 1 Holidays)
蘑菇视频 offers an听Indonesian听Study Tour听for students in听Years 10, 11 and 12, delivered in partnership with the听Australian Consortium for听In鈥�Country听Indonesian Studies (ACICIS). The program is proposed as a听10鈥�day immersion, typically scheduled听for the holidays at the end of Term 1, and involves听approximately 20 students听based in听Yogyakarta. The tour places language learning at its centre, with students听participating听in structured Indonesian language classes each morning, followed by immersive cultural, educational and听community听based听experiences in the afternoons. By living locally, attending school听visits听and engaging with Indonesian social,听religious听and cultural contexts, students develop linguistic confidence, intercultural听understanding听and global awareness. The program supports students to grow in independence,听adaptability听and empathy. The听anticipated听cost is approximately $5,000 per student, inclusive of airfares, accommodation, transport,听tuition听and program activities.听听

Japan Study Tour

蘑菇视频 offers a听Japanese听Study Tour听for students in听Years 10 and 11, undertaken in partnership with听Marian College Ararat听and supported by the听Australian Institute of International Understanding (AIIU). The program is planned for the听September school holidays听and involves听approximately 20 students听travelling for听11 nights / 12 days听through听Tokyo, Kyoto, Miyama,听Nara听and Hiroshima. The immersion emphasises intercultural understanding, peace education and experiential learning through school visits听connected to our Japanese school partnerships, rural farm stays, shared cultural practices and encounters with Japan鈥檚 religious traditions and historical sites. Students engage deeply with themes of history,听justice听and reconciliation, particularly through learning in Hiroshima, while also experiencing everyday Japanese life through homestays and community connection. The program fosters confidence, curiosity and global citizenship, aligned with 蘑菇视频鈥檚 commitment to wonder, compassion,听courage听and hospitality. The听indicative cost is approximately $6,000 per student, covering international travel, accommodation,听transport听and educational experiences.听听
